An artist’s mind questions the world around her/him and sees opportunity where others see pain, see beauty where other see sadness, sees meaning where others see chaos. I’ve found, for myself, that living this way can be both inspiring and overwhelming. Throughout my limited life-experience I’ve explored many different mediums in search of one that I could master fully enough to make a career out of it. From singing to theater to sound design to film editing to sculpture, I’ve been inspired by them all. Nowadays I study at Otis College of art and design as a Fine Arts major. The point being, however, I have seen how people turn their creativity into life-long careers, and more importantly, life-long passions. Photography is the counter-balance to a busy, mindless world. Moments are fleeting, time passes quickly before your eyes, and landscapes are constantly changing. Photography is the art of stopping time. It is memories. It is a documentation of humanity. It’s an inquiry into human life and the infinite amount of detail contained in every single millisecond.

As I have progressed in my artistic practice, I have found that my mind is centered around both design and creativity.
